A performance of each participating school’s musical will be viewed and evaluated by three adjudicators.  In addition to awarding points according to our guidelines, each adjudicator will produce performance and production commentaries for each school as a learning tool.

The awards criteria emphasize storytelling and achievement, not budget or size of production.

Each school being evaluated will hold two tickets for each adjudicator no charge. We ask that adjudicators claim their tickets by ten minutes before curtain.

Highest scores in each category will determine our winners. Nominees will be announced on April 16, 2018. Production winners will be announced at the our awards show on May 5, 2018. Best Actor and Best Actress nominees' scores will be combined with their performance scores at the awards show to determine the winners.
