Production Interns
We have positions for two assistant stage managers, two production manager interns, a lighting intern, a sound intern. and a costume intern. Applicants can come from any school whether that school registers a musical with us or not. We will feed interns at in-person rehearsals, and house those who cannot commute to in-person rehearsals, at our expense.

A online orientation for all participants takes place online the week of April 22-26. Live rehearsals will be held April 28-May 2 in Albuquerque. The show is Friday, May 3, 7:30pm, in Popejoy Hall. Interns will spend part of their time ahead of the performance at Popejoy Hall, working with our team and with Popejoy’s crew.

Assistant Stage Manager
We seek the right students to help us run the Enchantment Awards. Assistant stage managers work with the show from April 1 forward. During rehearsals, ASMs help track staging, keep rehearsals flowing, and provide general assistance to the production. During the tech and dress rehearsals, you will help the stage manager as floor managers stage left and stage right. You will also help with backstage and offstage traffic, making sure performers are ready for each segment of the show. We are accepting applications now.

Production Assistants
We seek the right students to help us organize the Enchantment Awards this year. Production assistants work with the show from April 1 forward. We will hold meetings in April (Zoom, live, or mixed). Production assistants can help with any number of tasks including meals, hotels, transportation, programs, ticketing issues, VIP seating, and more. Our production assistants have helped produce our slides, assisted the show's host, and served as a concierge of sorts for our judges. You may be able to accomplish some of the work remotely. We are accepting applications now.

Lighting Intern
We seek the right student to help us make the Enchantment Awards look great. The lighting intern works with the show from April 1 forward. We will hold meetings in April (Zoom, live, or mixed). Our lighting intern works with Popejoy’s lighting personnel, serving as a bridge between the production in rehearsals and the lighting designer. The intern also provides general lighting assistance May 2 and 3 as we rehearse and perform the show. We are accepting applications now.

Sound Intern
We seek the right student to help us make the Enchantment Awards sound great. The sound intern works with the show from April 1 forward. Our sound intern works with Popejoy’s sound personnel and microphone supplier, serving as a bridge between the production in rehearsals and the sound designer. The intern also provides general sound assistance on May 2 and 3 as we rehearse and perform the show. We are accepting applications now.

Costuming Intern
We seek the right student to help the student performers in the Enchantment Awards look their best. The costuming intern works with the show from April 1 forward. Our costuming intern works with our costumer, finding elements we require that performers forgot or don’t have. The assistant will help with everything from making minor costume repairs to helping to find and fit a full costume replacement, as well as helping to prep costume elements as needed. The intern also provides general assistance on May 2 and 3 as we rehearse and perform the show. We are accepting applications now.
Video intern
We seek the right student to help us create a great video record of the Enchantment Awards. The video intern will work with our video team, Sopapilla Productions, from April 28 forward, with possible meetings before that date. Our video intern will help with camera and sound setup, lighting, and other duties as requested by Sopapilla Production’s personnel. There may be an opportunity to work with another video effort as well. We are accepting applications now.
