Instructions for Teachers
Register your production at least four weeks before opening night. The first 20 schools to register will be adjudicated. Schools registering after the first 20 will be added to our wait list. Unless you hear from us, you are registered with the program once you receive our automated email confirmation. 1. Production registration. Please use our online form to register your production. You will need to upload a copy of your performance license. You can submit it with your registration or at a later date. We charge $150 per cast to register, two casts maximum. Pay when you register with a credit or debit card, or pay later by card or check. |
2. Cast nomination. After you complete the registration form, you will see our confirmation page. You will also receive a confirmation email. Each contains the link to our simple cast nomination form. Use that form to nominate your eligible cast members for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress awards. Nominate each cast member one at a time. We will ask for Directors Choice Chorus nominations in April.
3. Student registration. After you nominate your students, each will receive a link by email to our student registration form. Each student must register with our program, including providing parental consent, before we will adjudicate them. Students register for free.
Payment
All registration fees go directly to funding the program. Your registration fee covers all aspects of your participation in the program including adjudication and evaluations, student nominees, production nominees, Directors Choice Chorus participants, and Jimmy Award nominees. You can pay by check or card. If you do not pay when you register, we will contact you to make arrangements. All payments must be received before the first performance.

Students can participate either as nominees from their school drama programs, or they can audition directly to our program March 15 or 16, 2022. If you are nominated as a part of your school’s musical, you do not need to audition to get in.
To audition, complete the audition sign-up form. You can also attend our audition workshop on February 15, 2022. Both the auditions and the workshop are live online.
There is no fee for any student to participate. We do require each student participating in the program to complete a student registration form. That way we know they are interested in the program and will make themselves available for it. Each nominated student should complete and submit the form.
