Making 20-21 a Little Easier

You’ve had a tough enough year, so we’re making it easier than ever before to participate in the Enchantment Awards, including letting students register directly and for free. Find out how.

Celebrate Students!

We celebrate everything our students gain through involvement in their high school theatre programs: creativity, confidence, a greater sense of community, greater empathy, and so much more — assets they can take with them on any path they choose in life.

Certainly, we are here to support students who have an interest in pursuing careers in dramatic storytelling or any of its related arts. We encourage and support them in acquiring the skills necessary — acting, singing, dancing — but also help them to see how those skills support the telling of stories that help all of us to grow.

A Statement and a Commitment

Black lives matter.

In theater, words are actions and actions bring about change and growth.

By declaring that Black lives matter, we verbalize an understanding that before this moment Black lives have not mattered, or not mattered enough. Our statement moves us forward, opens us up to learning how we can be better, and propels us to better actions informed by those words.

As we speak these words, “Black lives matter,” we emphatically join a growing chorus of voices committed to achieving a just ending. Join with us. Sing it, say it, mean it: Black lives matter, in every story we tell, in every word and intention, in every action of our lives.

Then Black lives matter will not just be words in action, they will be a goal attained.
