Evaluations

Each adjudicator will evaluate the production as a whole, the contributions of the director and the merits of the ensemble/chorus. Additionally, adjudicators will evaluate performances by all individuals nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress. Adjudicators will also score students nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.

In addition to scoring the performances, each adjudicator will produce performance and production critiques for each school as a learning tool. Judges will follow constructive criticism guidelines for these critiques, which will be given to the teacher as a teaching tool.

Our awards criteria emphasize storytelling and achievement, not budget or size of production.
